Hi Bharathi,

I've been following and investing in crypto since 2019, and I completely agree with your view on how the space was heavily overhyped, especially due to pump & dump cycles and influencer driven speculation.

That said, I do believe the ecosystem is maturing. With countries like U.S. and UAE taking real steps toward regulation, we’re beginning to see a shift from noise to structure. Even if crypto doesn’t become mainstream currency anytime soon, blockchain and crypto still have real potential in areas like:

Fast, low-cost Cross-border payments,Crypto wallets for financial inclusion,Supply chain transparency,Smart contracts,Tokenized real-world assets,Digital identity

Many still doubt its future, but with a market cap still over $2 trillion and real-world adoption progressing, I think there’s more substance now than before.

Would love to hear your take on where crypto is headed in 2025, especially with some positive developments starting to take shape after Trump.

Best Regards,

Salman

Hi Salman,

Thanks for the detailed response. Love your take.

Quite agree that there has been a lot of positive development in Crypto especially around StableCoins.

I do believe that Trump did a smart move to back Stablecoins as they are pegged against the dollar and definitely help with faster / smoother cross border transactions..

I am only skeptical of the many other / pure crypto coins which IMHO , largely operate in fantasy world or in illegal dealings.

If I had to take a bet Ether / Solona / XRP and other Blockchain frameworks / platforms will be more relevant successful in future than Bitcoin or the gazillion Cryto Coins

love to hear your thoughts as well...
